Today was my orientation at the hospital to be a volunteer. I also signed up for two classes at UAF. I'm taking Medical Terminology this summer and the CNA class in the fall. It's all just getting started and I'm so nervous but I know this is going to be a great thing for me. I am so excited.

Beautiful Acacia Marie was born at 2:10 am. She is 7 lbs 1 oz. and 19 3/4 in. long. She looks just like her mommy, Ms. Linda, and I hope she inherites her sunny disposition. She is the most precious baby and I wanted to hold her all day! I posed for a picture with the baby but Cheesy-G accidentally pushed the video button LOL

I finally got the book for my class in Medical Terminology today. I am so excited to start studying! It looks very interesting and now I'm wondering why I didn't do this in the first place. I have always been interested in this stuff!

It is all very interesting. I think I will really enjoy this class!

I took the state exam for being a CNA. I was so nervous! I really hope I didn't make any silly mistakes! They said it could take a MONTH to get the results back! UGH!

I passed! I got my certifcation in the mail today! I'm so glad I passed. Now hopefully I will get a job.

My first interview is today. I have another one tomorrow. I really hope to be employed soon!

I decided to go to work part time now that Riley is almost 4 years old. Today is my interview with Ron at Michaels Arts and Crafts.
later that day...
My interview went very well. I didn't expect the person to interview me to be dressed up in a Halloween costume. He was dressed as a surgeon with a mask and fake blood smeared all over him. GROSS!

I just accepted a job with FMH!
